Throughout my career, I've been driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to elevate the organizations I serve. During my time in the retail sector, I spearheaded a transformative initiative to establish “Bespoke Shoe Corner”s in flagship stores. Our goal was not just to sell products but to create meaningful customer experiences, changing how retail connects with people.

Store look before the Introduction of “Accessories Corner”

Upon joining the Retail Shoe brand, I was confronted with a chaotic situation in the Accessories category. Products were haphazardly displayed on shelves, often out of sight and hindering sales. Recognizing the need for a strategic overhaul, I collaborated closely with the team to devise a comprehensive redesign plan. Through meticulous planning and execution, we transformed the space into a cohesive and enticing showcase, effectively communicating our offerings and revitalizing sales performance. 

“Accessories Corner”

Through collaborative thinking and brainstorming sessions with the team, we conceptualized and executed the "Accessories Corner”, strategically displaying all accessory items together to enhance their visibility within the store. This innovative approach resulted in a remarkable 35% increase in sales, showcasing the effectiveness of teamwork and creative problem-solving in achieving our objectives.

As a Graduate Assistant at VCU, I noticed a need to boost student engagement with the da Vinci Center. Working with teams from Engineering, Business, and Arts, I organized initiatives to increase its visibility. By updating our tabling approach with engaging displays and interactive models, we drew more students to participate, creating a stronger sense of community on campus.
